About the Awards...

1. Living Wage Employer Champion Awards

These awards celebrate the employers that have done the most to implement, promote and celebrate the Living Wage in their regions during 2015. Judges will be looking for evidence that organisations have gone above and beyond to promote the Living Wage. This could include:

  • Raising awareness of the Living Wage
  • Encouraging other organisations to pay the Living Wage
  • Increasing the visibility of the Living Wage Employer Mark

This category is open to applications from accredited Living Wage Employers and Recognised Living Wage Service Providers.

2. Living Wage Leadership Awards

These are special awards for remarkable individuals that have led the way on the Living Wage in their regions during 2015. Award winners could be community campaigners, team members at Living Wage Employers, or a person who has made the Living Wage a reality for others.

Judges will be looking for outstanding leadership on the Living Wage. This could include:

  • Raising awareness of the Living Wage
  • Making the Living Wage a reality for others
  • Encouraging organisations to adopt the Living Wage

The Leadership Award is open to applications from anybody, regardless of whether or not they work for a Living Wage Employer.

Organisations are welcome to submit applications to both categories; for example, accredited employers may like to nominate their CEO for the Leadership Award as well as nominating their organisation as a Living Wage Employer Champion.

The awards opened for applications on 3rd August 2015. The closing deadline for applications was midnight on 21st September 2015. Materials submitted as part of award applications may be used in Living Wage Foundation communication materials.

The Awards are free to enter. If you have any questions please contact emma.kosmin@livingwage.org.uk.
