Minister Set To Open Fresh Logistics Centre

The Secretary of State for Transport, Patrick McLoughlin MP will be visiting Derby to open the iconic Olivetti Building, the newly formed emlc.space today. The project is the brainchild of the multi-award winning Living Wage employer Fresh Logistics Services, and will be bringing new jobs to Derby as a part of their continued expansion. Mr McLoughlin, will be arriving to open the site at Downing Road, Derby at 09.30am in front of an invited audience of local dignitaries, business leaders, national bodies, trade organisations and the press.

The emlc.space project is the idea of Fresh Logistics Services Managing Director, Alan White, and is designed to offer serviced offices, meeting rooms and conference areas for use by the logistics, supply chain and associated industries.

Alan states

It has taken a lot of hard work by the team here to get to this point and we are all extremely proud of the results. Creating a venue where logistics professionals can meet, in a complex filled by logistics related companies seems such an obvious proposition, but sites like this do not seem to exist. The site is perfect for a range of uses, from hosting meetings & conferences, to holding interviews and hosting clients. Rooms and space can be booked for a few hours or you can relocate your company to join the East Midlands Logistics Centre (emlc.space) hub

The team at the foundation want to congratulate Fresh Logisitics on their continued support and the extremely positive news of the job creation this venture will bring to the local area, all at a Living Wage.
