NEWS: Living Wage Week 2017 round-up

Living Wage Week has been even bigger and better than ever this year! 

Some of the highlights of the celebrations include #LivingWageWeek trending on Twitter for the entirety of Monday with the likes of Martin Lewis and Levi Roots signing-up to our Thunderclap.

We also had cross-party support, with the metro mayors, the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales and the leaders of the Labour, Liberal Democrat, SNP and Green parties all championing the real Living Wage throughout the week.

We heard testimonies from real people earning the real Living Wage including Lynne from AvivaMelvyn from Vaultex and John from Cooper Noble Care - this was a really humbling and rewarding experience. 

We had a fantastic Living Wage Week, with new research, the new Living Wage rates and the latest Living Wage accreditations getting lots of print, TV and radio coverage.
