Share your story this Living Wage Week

This Living Wage Week (10–16 November), we’re raising awareness of the difference the Living Wage makes – for workers, families, businesses, and their communities and celebrating our movement of employers who are choosing to go further for their staff.

One way of celebrating your commitment this Living Wage is to share a blog on your channels to mark the week. It's a great opportunity to remind your audience of your accreditation and celebrate the difference you're making. 

Here are a few tips to get you started 

Suggested topics

• Why your organisation chose to accredit as a Living Wage, Living Hours and/or Living Pension Employer
• Share stories or reflections on the difference the Living Wage has made to:
  • Your workers (security, dignity, ability to plan for the future).
  • Your organisation (recruitment, retention, morale, productivity).
  • Your customers/clients (trust, reputation, alignment with values).
• How your Living Wage accreditation supports your values as an organisation.

Title ideas:

• The Difference the Living Wage Makes at [Your Organisation]
• Why We’re Proud to Be a Living Wage Employer
• Good for People, Good for Business: Our Living Wage Story

General advice

• Keep the blog 500–800 words.
• Write in short sentences and use a friendly, natural tone.
• Write in the first person for maximum readability. Make it personal, talk about 'we' or 'our team'
• Add 1–2 images (these could be a team photo, a picture of your workplace, or your organisation attending a relevant event).
• Include one or two short quote from members of staff if you can.
• Mention Living Wage Week (10–16 Nov 2025) and share why you’re taking part (e.g. “As a Living Wage Employer, we’re proud to celebrate this week and highlight the difference the Living Wage makes to our people and our business.”).
• Publish on your organisation's website and share on your social media channels and using the hashtags: #LivingWageWeek #TheDifferenceItMakes
